Getting To Know You
INITIAL MEETING
At this initial meeting, we ask lots of questions to map out the vision for your dream home. We discuss how you envision living in your new home. We listen to your ideas about lifestyle, function, comfort and capacity .From there, we work to develop the design, scope and budget for the project and, if an architect or designer is needed, we can offer our list of trusted professional partners for your consideration.

Scope and Budget
FINE TUNING YOUR VISION
Once your architect and designer team have been identified, we will meet again to outline every step of the process so you know exactly what to expect. This is the first meeting with your overall team (architect, designer, project manager), who work together to make your dream home a reality. At this point, you may decide to walk the property, consider the views and envision the landscaping.
3.
Value Engineering
RESOURCE OPTIMIZATION
Once you have approved all major details of the home design, we will finalize the costs of the project. En route to this final financial framework, we engage what is called “value engineering” to help clarify the value of your investment and help you optimize your resources. This stage is where our experience and expertise with materials, finishes and resources can open up various opportunities to choose from.

Your BHB Team
MEET THE TEAM
Your Bruce Heys Builders team will consist of a project manager, who will be your main point of contact, an interior designer, and access to an office staff manager, accountant, and a finish carpenter – all who will play an important role in making your building process seamless as well as enjoyable. You will experience the assistance and individual attention from each team member throughout your entire building process.

The Build
WATCHING YOUR HOME TRANSFORM
This is where the fun begins. With most of the selections well under way, you will be involved with seeing your vision come to fruition. You will be kept informed of every detail and will have access to a member portal that allows you to see all of your projects information stored in an easy to access space. Our team will meet with you weekly to keep you informed and educated each step of the way, and constantly update your member portal.
6.
Walk Through
WELCOME HOME!
In this final stage, you’ll get a chance to walk through your new home to make sure everything is perfect. After you’ve given it your stamp of approval, we’ll hand over the keys, along with a homeowner’s manual with everything you’ll need for future reference. And Bruce Heys Builders doesn’t leave you at the doorstep – we’ll stay in close contact as you settle in and adjust to your new home.
